What does it taste like?

Think of a traditional chai with a little more roasted nutty flavours. Because this blend changes out traditional black tea (as found in our Peacock Chai) for Wattleseed and Chicory Root it has a more toasted lighter flavour.

Is it Caffeine-Free?

Yes! This chai is 100% caffeine-free. Wattleseed and chicory root do not contain caffeine and they taste delicious! 

Wattleseed is part of the ancient Aboriginal bush food heritage and represents an irresistibly nutty, coffee or hazelnut flavour. Chicory root is a famous coffee alternative that matches the flavour without the caffeine. 

This Australian chai is perfect to enjoy with or without milk.

This tea is available in a refill pouch. The pouch is re-sealable to maintain freshness and perfect to refill your Impala & Peacock canister or jar.

2 min steep to enjoy as a black tea, or 4+ mins steep time for milk tea

(always add milk first into your teacup before the hot tea. Reversing the order will risk denaturing the proteins in the milk making it less creamy)
